All passport applicants must remove their glasses for their photograph on their passport application or renewal. If your current (unexpired) passport photo shows you wearing glasses, don’t worry. It is not necessary for you to obtain a new passport immediately. Of course, you must appear without glasses the next time you renew your passport.
