Two others were also injured in the incident in which more than 30 rounds were fired in Punjab’s Mansa district. On Sunday, Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala were shot dead in a firing incident at Jawaharke in Mansa district.

According to available reports, two others were also injured in the incident within which over 30 rounds were fired. Moose Wala was rushed to the civil hospital in Mansa in a critical condition where he was declared dead.

The incident happened each day after the Punjab Police ordered the withdrawal of security of his security together with quite 420 people, including former MLAs, Jathedars of two Takhts, heads of Deras, and law enforcement officials.

In December last year, the 29-year-old singer had joined the Congress and unsuccessfully contested the 2022 Punjab elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa district.
