The Cincinnati Bengals' AFC title defense didn't turn away the way Burrow and company had envisioned it,

As they absorbed a 23-20 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers at home on Sunday.

Burrow was particularly bad down center, as he struggled to complete the throw and avoid pocketing the Steelers.

If Joe Burrows had a mulligan, he probably would have taken it given the number of bad decisions he made in the game, which he definitely wanted back.

"You don't make excuses; it's what it is," Burrow shared with reporters after the loss to the Steelers,

“I am proud of the way we played in the second half. We came back strong and put ourselves in a position to win the game,” Burrow said.

Joe Burrow finished the game with 338 passing yards, but 33 of 53 were incapacitated. He threw a pair of touchdowns, but picked up twice as many times.

- One of which was returned for a touchdown by Steelers safety Minka Fitzpatrick.
